WANTED:  CHOIR DIRECTOR

The Garrettsville United Methodist Church is seeking a director for its adult chancel choir.  The position is part-time, approximately 4-5 hours/week.  Hours include Sunday services, Wednesday evening rehearsals, and some preparation time.  There will be additional hours during Advent and Lent for seasonal services and programs.  The choir is active for approximately nine months, late August through Pentecost Sunday in June, with about 10 weeks off between.

Candidates must have experience directing a choir and familiarity with both traditional and contemporary church music, as well as experience working with an organist/piano accompanist.

Salary ranges from $5000 - $6000 depending on experience and education.
